We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will act as the Quality Owner inside one of our product squads. This squad is a vertical, cross-functional, B2B-facing squad focused on customer integrations and feature delivery. We need someone who views “testing” not as a phase, but as a system of continuous quality assurance across the entire delivery pipeline.
Core Responsibilities
1) Full quality ownership inside the squad
- Drive quality from the earliest stages (Shift-Left)
- Active participation in 3 Amigos, Refinement, and Discovery sessions
- Collaborate with Product on shaping and clarifying acceptance criteria
- Lead Test Design, Test Strategy, and Testability discussions
- Provide transparency of quality status and risks for the squad
2) Quality Coach for the Squad
- Raise the engineering maturity of the squad in testing practices
- Promote and support practices like TDD, Pair Testing, and Impact-Based Test Design
- Challenge and improve the way the team builds and validates software
- Enable developers to test better and earlier, where it makes sense
3) Test Automation Engineering
- Work hands-on inside our Playwright + TypeScript automation framework
- Create and maintain automated UI + API test coverage
- Own test automation quality and stability for the squad (coverage, reliability)
- Integrate automation and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing/quality engineering
- Experience working in a product/squad / feature-team model
- Strong skills in test analysis, test design, and risk-based testing
- Hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript (must)
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins)
- Practical experience with Shift-Left testing (3 Amigos, TDD, Consumer Contract Testing, etc.)
