Senior Manufacturing Engineer

A confidential, long -established CNC contract manufacturer supporting defense and aerospace<\/b> programs is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer<\/b> to lead new product introduction and process optimization. This role drives continuous improvement in a highly regulated production environment with significant growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h4>

• Work within the New Product Introduction (NPI)<\/b> team to receive customer designs, perform DFMA<\/b> analysis, and develop accurate quotes.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Apply deep CNC machining<\/b> expertise to create and optimize manufacturing processes.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Drive continuous improvements using Lean Manufacturing<\/b>, Six Sigma<\/b>, and 5S<\/b> techniques.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Generate and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions<\/b>.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Collaborate cross -functionally with production, quality, and customers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery goals are met.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Lead structured problem solving (A3, PDCA, 8D, DMAIC) for process and quality issues.
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications
  <\/h4>

  • 5–10+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • VantageClear Certification or equivalent (e.g., active U.S. security clearance, CMMC, or similar defense -industry credential) required.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong background in CNC machining<\/b> and GD&T<\/b>.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with new product development<\/b>, quoting, and cost analysis.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks<\/b> and CAD/CAM software (Esprit, MasterCAM).
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing certification or demonstrated experience.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and cross -functional teams.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Degree in Engineering preferred but not required
